What happens to my mums house?
My mum passed away recently and im her only son/will name, and everything is left to me with regards to her abode, however she had a mortgage, does that mean i have to pay it off now? as im disabled and dont get much help from the government.
Im struggling to cope with the grieving yet alone this problem aswell, what do i do?
i wouldnt sell anything, i was left it as a place to live incase this situation happened, that was quite insensitive nick, thanks...
Its more the mortgage concerns, will that be wiped clean? or will i be entitled to pay it off? surely they have things for situations like this... i cant cope with it all right now.

There is a very strong possibility ...your mother had mortgage protection ....as most mortgage companies have this included in the mortgage agreement . You really need to contact the mortgage people and ask , or get a solicitor to deal with it for you .

it depends what sort of a mortgage she had. if it was one with insurance then the likelihood is it would pay out so you can pay off the mortgage, but in saying that some don't. visit the bank/building society that provided the mortgage taking a copy of your mums death certificate so they can sort out or advise you. this doesn't automatically sort itself out it is for you to start the process.

i'm sorry about ur mum.
Do not sell her house and try to get help from ur family.U can always call a lawyer and ask them any questions no need to hire them. If you need money try selling unecessaru items on ebay and try making a business from home if possible (depending on the disaility u have) if u live in da uk u can claim benefits.
HOPE THIS HELPZ =)
