Fellow Christians of all denominations, how would you react if... (please see details)?

How would you react if you met Mary the mother of Jesus face to face? Just go with it for a moment, and imagine that she's just appeared in whatever kind of room you're sitting in, and she's already greeted you by name. How would you react to her? Would you kiss her hand and thank her for what she did? Would you hug her? Would you ask her to pray for you? What kinds of questions would you ask her? Use as much or as little detail as you want.

I'm just curious. I think meeting her is kind of a cool thought.

While this is especially for Christians, people of other faiths (and lack thereof) are also welcome to answer, so long as you assume that the Mary who visits you is the woman who gave birth to the Son of God.

Update:

I am not Catholic, and I have never been Catholic, but I still think it would be amazing to meet Mary face to face. She was an incredible woman, and while Jesus is our Savior, I see nothing wrong with acknowledging the woman who brought Him into the world, and so humbly accepted God's will for her life.

    I would probably cry.

As a mother myself with only 1 child-a little boy, I can only imagine her suffering to watch her son scourged, tortured, and hanged on the cross to die an agonizing death. It breaks my heart.

I am a Catholic and would be very thankful to meet Mary. In a slightly un-traditional way, I do not condone praying TO Mary, but is is okay to ask her to pray for us, which we can do ourselves, any time, anyway. We should pray only to God or to his son, or for those who aren't Christian... a deity like God is acceptable, as long as it is the highest form, and nobody beneath that. So, I think a hug would be cool, a cup of coffee or tea with a good danish or a piece of cake, something modern and from the 21st century just as our issues have changed somewhat, and a long chat about what is Jesus like, and what is God planning for us these days?

There were a couple times during my life where random people told me that there was a woman beside me.

I have to admit, after getting over the slightly freaked out feeling, there was this rush of idk...like I got a favor from God. It was kind of neat just thinking about the possibility of that being true. So I do follow up on anything regarding her in the world. I tend to haunt that Medjugorje site every month waiting for her little blurbs.

I'm not sure how I would react if I really met her. I mean, she's kinda ... glorified... from what I understand.

Anyway, thanks for asking. I'm okay not to see wonders and miracles.

I would treat her the same as any other houseguest - with kindness and respect. I do not believe in the Catholic religion. Therefore, although Mary is the woman who gave birth to Jesus, and a central figure in the Catholic religion, she is only a human being. God could have brought Jesus to us in ANY way or form.

Jesus is the one whom I LOVE. He is the one I would have the adulation for if He appeared in my room. I would sit as His feet and ask Him every detail of everything I could possibly think of.

She is our spiritual Mother......who wants nothing more for us than to pray for us and show us her Son.

    I would listen.

Her soul magnifies the Lord (Luke 1:46-55)!

I will fall at her feet and request her to bless me and pray for my soul and of all those whom I love and also their loved ones.

I really believe that she might reject any homage of any kind - deferring humbly to her son,Jesus Christ,

Whatever praise I/you give to her she will reject. She would point us to Jesus Christ alone. That would be enough for me if I met her.
