How do I keep my red couch from staining my clothes?
My couch is about 3 months old and it is turning all of my white clothing pink. Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do about it?
Other info:
It has the fabric protection plan on it from Rooms to Go.
2 months old.

That's called crocking, and it's a sign of badly dyed fabric; it won't get better. Be prepared for Couch Manufacturer to blame Fabric Spray Manufacturer and whoever applied the spray, and vice-versa.
Little or nothing that can be done about it at home... I'd consider this to be a defective product from the manufacturer.

If the above answers aren't an option you can try a protective spray like 'scotch guard'. It is supposed to stop colour running to protect the item but I dnt see why it shouldn't be used to protect you from the item!! Make sure you do a patch test on a concealed bit of the sofa though.

If the dyes used to make your cushions purple is soluble by something that is going to bleed out into the settee slowly yet rather. do no longer enable them to take a seat all people place too long . positioned them on the settee in basic terms once you employ them. you could desire to objective to scotch-shield on the cushions. in case you moisten the settee the leather-based might have moisture/oils to help the colour pass. Use a plastic bag around them in case you opt to maintain your whiteness. perhaps a white towel between the two.

Sounds like a micro fiber covered couch, return if for a full refund.

Usually you get some type of warranty when you buy from a reputable company. I would contact them and advise them of the problem. I bet they replace it.
