38 + 4 weeks, lots of braxton hicks, is this the beginning ?
I am having braxton hicks, about 6-8 minutes apart, uncomfortable but not painful, they also come with period like cramping but only in the front, nothing in the back. it's not painful enough to be real labour but could it be the start ? no bloody show either. Going for just over an hour. Thanks.
third baby, but only went into natural labour once, 17 years ago, lol. I am still getting plenty of movement, and the contractions are all over the front but don't wrap over to the back. I have been having them for weeks but not this regular. Thanks.

I would think they would be A LOT more painful than this if they are 6-8 mins apart!!! Your ment to go to hosp when they are between 5 and 3 mins apart and at that stage they are damn bad!!!
Try going for a walk and moving about and having a big drink of water you may just find they stop...And if they dont and it turns out to be labor I'll eat my words =)
Real labor pain generally isnt solely located in the front lower abdomen, it generally comes from everywhere! Back and all over the front.
I had severly painful braxton hicks from 36 weeks they would come about every five mins for several hours and as the weeks went by the pain got worse, my daughter wasnt born until 40 + 5 weeks...It might be the start, it might not!
Best wishes!!!!!

If they get two being five minutes aside you're most likely in hard work Braxton Hicks will more often than not depart after approximately an hour or so stroll round if the soreness is to so much so that you can manage than name your husband Better to be risk-free than sorry Good Luck.

I would say rest for a while. If any discharge or water break or they become closer and more in intensity, rush to doc asap. Labour pains are "PAINFUL" that you cant tolerate. Make sure baby has normal movements.
Have a smooth delivery!

is this your second baby?? if so then could just be false labor, iv had it a few times, had braxton hicks 5minuets apart for 7hours, then they just stopped! :( was most upset i was!
really the only way to tell is to see if they get stronger, then closer together
