Last album listened to: Alphabeat - 'The Spell'
(a lot different than what I expect, divided down the middle between good or bad but the ones I liked, I really liked)
Current album listening to: Ema and the Ghosts - s/t (actually more of an EP I guess)
(so far I liked one song, didn't like two others though)
Next album planning on listening to: Carbon Based Lifeforms - 'Interloper'
BQ: When's the last time you saw the "HOT" sign on at the donut shop and did you buy some?
BQ2: I just bought King's Under The Dome, finally. Anyone else read it? Any good?
BQ3: The xx did a cover of Aaliyah's "Hot Like Fire". Better or worse than the original?

Last album listened to: "Diary of a Madman" by Ozzy Osbourne.
I was listening to it in a Publix and some 16-year-old stranger knew the name of every song that played, and he talked to me about the album. I'm 15. Shopping for my mom. It was actually REALLY awkward.
Current album listening to: "Pleasant Dreams" by Ramones.
I LOVE "You Sound Like You're Sick."
And heck, it just played on the radio while it was on my iPod, too... I'm scared now.
Next album planning on listening to: "Ixnay on the Hombre" by The Offspring.
I listened to that one right before "Diary of a Madman" and I'm into it again.
BQ: Just this afternoon. I bought some doughnuts for my little sis. :)
BQ2: Not yet, but it looks good. I think I'm planning on purchasing it soon.
BQ3: Ah, it's okay. Nothing's better than the original, though.

Last Album: L.A. Woman - The Doors
Current Album: People Are Strange - The Doors
Next Album: Not sure but I might listen to My Favourite Things by John Coltrane
BQ: Never. Lol we actually don't have any donut shops over here, as far as I know.
BQ2: I'm a big Stephen King fan but I haven't got around to reading that yet. From what I've heard, it sounds like it should be a good read.
BQ3: I don't know that song.

Last: Swagger - Flogging Molly
Current: The Battle Of Los Angeles - Rage Against The Machine
Next: At The Edge Of Time - Blind Guardian
...yeah today I'm pretty much all over the board O.o
BQ: No (not that I've ever seen a donut shop, they aren't exactly common in Europe).
BQ2: Would that be Stephen King? Never read anything from him, don't plan to do.
BQ3: ...whatever...

Last: I'm Alive by Jackson Browne
Decent, but I was expecting a little more after reading reviews saying it was a "masterpiece". "Sky Blue and Black" is simply incredible, though.
Current: Sailing to Philadelphia by Mark Knopfler
Been a Dire Straits fan a long time, but I'm just now listening to Mark's solo work. Really loving this, especially the title track, which has inspired me to write some historic songs.
Next: Shangri-La by Mark Knopfler
I've listened to most of it already, it's more laid back than "Sailing..." but is still very good. Mark is an incredible songwriter, and from what I've heard, I've loved "Postcards from Paraguay" and "Boom, Like That". "Money for Nothing" Dire Straits fans will shun this, but those that appreciate a more mature, folkish Knopfler will love both albums.
BQ: No donut shops around, I don't think I've eaten from one in years.
BQ2: No, sounds interesting though, so I might look it up.
BQ3: What?

Last album: Karen Elson - The Ghost Who Walked
Current album: The Beatles - Revolver
Next album: Fiona Apple - When the Pawn... (maybe!)
- King CrimsonLv 61 decade ago
Last: Here - Adrian Belew
(Great album, his best solo work imo. More "pop-song" and less "avantgarde" oriented than some other albums, and I like his "pop" side.)
Current: Bitches Brew - Miles Davis
(One of my favorite albums from perhaps my favorite musical artist. I've been listening to it a lot of late as it matches my mindset these days. Very out there early fusion, essential listening, imo.)
Next: The Fame Monster - Lady Gaga
(I'm a strange man. No but really, she makes some great, tuneful modern pop. The fact that the flavor of it is "dance pop" doesn't bother me none.)
BQ: idk but that sounds like it'd catch my attention lulz
