How about you ask her to arrange your immigration to Philippines? High probability of an interesting reaction to that since Philippines is Numero Uno for marriage fraud. Should have made that little check before you actually married her.

Now, if you get immigration to Philippines, there are great jobs and biz opportunities for the educated, skilled, investors, etc. As an educated, experienced Canadian in the Phil., plus low taxes, low cost of living, sunshine, etc, you would do well (better than in high-cost, high-tax Canada), and plenty of expats living there & loving it, too.

If she passes the immigration test, and you decide you two want to live in cold, high-tax, high-cost Canada after all, see the Immigration Canada website for full instructions on applying for a spousal visa for your wife. She has to obtain documentation from the Philippine govt proving she has never been married. Since no divorce in Phil, if she ever married, she's a bigamist & you are not legally married. She will have to get the proper documents, explained on the website, before you can do diddly.
