My wart is like coming off... gross...?
Okay, so I've had a teeny tiny wart on my finger. Like it's really small. But today, it started hurting and it looks like its coming off or something. I washed it and put a bandaid on. Will it fall off? And also will there be like a hole where it used to be? It hurts...
It's like throbbing lol...

It shouldn't leave a hole and yes if it looks like it's coming off then it should be coming off.
Source(s): Just BTW make sure to check with an official (like a dermatologist) because I do not know for sure. I am only like 90% sure. - 1 decade ago
I've had warts, and yes, they do fall off. One day you will look and it just won't be there and you'll be like "huh, when did I get rid of that?" And just never think about it again. From my experience warts don't really leave holes, but the area of skin that the wart occupied will be kind of raw, rough, and sore for the next few days. I found that the best thing to do when a wart comes off is to put neo sporin (Sp?) on it, followed by a bandiad until the area heals.

You have caught this on something. Putting a bandaid on it is what you should do. It will eventually dry out and you can pull it the rest of the way off. And yes, it is going to hurt - the skin has been disrupted. There will be no hole after this heals up.

Ask your doctor for something for it. And just apply it twice a day and it will go away. I used to have bad warts on my feet, and thats what I did. Eventually they went away. And in the meantime wear a bracelet or long sleeve shirt to cover it. Or tell people that you'll rub it in their faces if they don't stop looking xD Kidding, kidding...
