anyone have symptoms after ivf during the 2 week wait before blood test?
i went through an ivf two weeks ago and friday of this week i have to go in for my blood work. i would just like to know if anyone had any symptoms during the two weeks, or was it the meds that made you feel like that? i can say that im very tired during the day and my breasts hurt like crazy, but that could be from the meds. im not asking here if i could be pregnant, i just want to know what other people have experienced with symptoms after an ivf treatment.
thank you to all who answer!!!

Yes, I definately had symptoms during my 2ww after my transfer. I wasn't sure if the symptoms were caused by the estrogen suppliments and/or the progesterone injections, but nonetheless I successfully got pregnant with twins after my previous IVF cycle. :) The symptoms I experienced during the 2ww were:
bloating
sore breasts
darkened nipples
extreme fatigue
feeling very tired, needing extra sleep
night sweats
increased hunger
occassionally mild cramps
I had my first beta done 12 days post transfer, with an hcg level of 1,028
Had my 2nd beta done 14 days post transfer, with an hcg level of 2,058
Best of luck to you!

Hia I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins after both my transferred embies took! I didn't feel sick or had sore boobs or anything, the only thing I had was bloating - but that was probably from the stimulation of my ovaries more than anything else, and a feeling that I'd eaten something that disagreed with me for the first few days - that was the main symptom. I really didn't feel anything else - oh, apart from feeling slightly hot and strange in the morning when I cleaned my teeth and feeling a bit breathless when I climbed the stairs - again, this could have been from the stimms drugs still hanging around! You might just have to wait for the test - I took about 3 before I actually believed it had been successful! Many, many best wishes and good luck xxxxxx

Hi!I had 2 IVF and got pregnant from both of them. In my case I was so stressed and overwhelmed by the whole thing that I couldn't tell the difference between a real or imagined symptom You are so wanting to be pregnant that your body starts to play mind games with you and if I can give you the most solid advice from someone who has been there, relax and try very hard to just not think about it. The more you start thinking,Do my boobs hurt?am i nauseous? am i peeing more than usual? Its really difficult to be objective when you are personally invested. Best thing to do is relax, have a positive attitude , take whatever medicine's your fertility doc tells you to and be cautiously optimistic. most of the time its so terrific.Good Luck!!!!!!!!

My sister had IVF. She said she felt very bloated and crampy for at least 4 weeks from when they implanted. (I did her blood work and she actually had a little pooch from the IVF...she is very tall and skinny though) She said her boobs were sore as well. She got pregnant first try.
I would imagine a pregnant test would be accurate now. It takes 4-6 days for implantation with IVF.

i didn't get an ivf treatment, but I did have an IUI treatment. I too had to wait and see if it was successful or not. But my breast did hurt like crazy 1st week after. other than that no other symptoms.
