American mainstream media, crusaders for truth, pathological liars, or just scary clowns?

Most of the "journalists" you see on TV are just well-paid useful idiots. They have no idea if what they are saying is true, and they couldn't care less.

But many of them LOOK like scary clowns.

It's the media owners who attend the Bilderberg meetings, inject establishment propaganda into every program and make sure no real information ever makes it into the news.

They are the pathological liars.

Out of those choices, Ill go with scary clowns.

What I really think they are is a bunch of backstabbing, self-centered glory-hogs who are just out to get the most column space/front page/air time or if they are on the editor side the most money.

They claim they are "crusaders for truth" but in reality they are just after a specific truth that will put them on the front page and don't give a damn about the whole truth.

I was at forum between soldiers, reporters, and publishers and a reporter asked the Vietnam Question, "if you knew an ambush was up ahead, would you tell the soldiers from your country or turn on the camera?" The reporter tried to tactfully say she would turn on the camera claiming the truth was more important.

She was later asked what preparations she made before going to Iraq, and she listed out several things, but the thing that stuck out was that she left instruction that if she was taken captive that all her stories and photos of her with US or Iraqi Soldiers were to be taken off the net so they wouldn't execute her.

So apparently the truth was more important then a soldier's life, but less important then her own. That would hardly qualify as "a crusader for the truth." Everything I saw in that forum with the reporters and publishers was purely self serving.
