Why were Tea Party Conventions and other Tea Party events cancelled because of lack of interest?
Hmmm....what seems to be happening is that the efforts to have a Tea Party Convention in Las Vegas and another to have a "three day Tea Party" extravaganza in D.C. have both been cancelled due to lack of interest. FreedomWorks, the lobbyist organization that funded prior Tea Party events found that its rally last Sunday was much smaller than a year ago.
Are people finally getting wise to the phoniness of the Tea Party as being merely a front for various Republican and right-wing organizations that fund it and not some 'grassroots' movement?

I've always said that the Tea Party had been taken over within months after their first rally. Sarah Palin ever the vicious opportunist, and who'll let nothing get between herself and a five-dollar bill, knew that she'd never be nominated for Prez. She latched on to the Teaparty like a bedbug. She wants to play King/Queenmaker - but she doesn't have the brains to realize that she's hurting the conservatives by endorsing whachos and crooks, and has so far gotten her way much of the time.
People are seeing the teaparty for what it is - a front for the Republicans who have no workable policy of their own. The teaparty is simply a one dimensional, shallow version of the GOP. They only want lower taxes, but spending is going to outstrip revenue. They don't want to cut the military, SS, or Medicare. The majority of the teabaggers are middle-aged, and due for heart attacks and strokes in the near future. The future with those loons is bleak. There's no way they can get rid of the deficit with what they have planned.
Maybe people are catching on to the Repub/Teabagger smoke and mirrors.
If those whackos get the balance of power, look for education and other programs to get cut - BIG time. All the Conservatives will be doing is shifting the financial burden onto the states, who will charge user fees and tolls for things like roads, libraries, schools, etc. People will end up paying more for things that were paid by tax revenue. There will be many things that will be privatized, and they'll get less value for their money, because private businesses will rake as much off the top as they can, before they fulfill their contracts.
People don't seem to realize that.

in no way. a million. international Warming isn't a tea social gathering situation. The tea social gathering themes are economic duty and decrease taxes. 2. Dr. Ivar Giaever, Nobel laureate in Physics, recently broke ranks with the international warming camp. 3. Did Muller say that international warming is anthropogenic? 4. observe that Muller additionally claims that all of us could have been a skeptic 2 years in the past; why in the international, then, have been liberals strolling around telling all of us they have been stupid in the event that they did not purchase into international warming? you could not have it the two techniques.

The mainstream Republican Party is starting to realize that they are becoming as marginalized as the Democrats were in the 70s when the Democrats were taken over by the extremist fringe of their party.

Yep... people are looking at the leadership of the "Tea Party" and seeing what can only be described as "Granola" (Nuts & Flacks)
People are getting wise to the Palin Plan (Make money by flappin’ their lips) No new ideas, just the same tired old Bush agenda that dug our nation into a hole. Bad policies, bad management and a “Good ol’ boy network” that makes trillions upon trillions of dollars off the backs of working class people while flushing their own nation down the toilet.
I would call it lack of interest... that or they are just waking up to smell the coffee.

That report is about one group called the "Tea Party Nation". There are other Tea Party groups far more popular than the Tea Party Nation. Sorry libby, you fail. The November elections will be a testament to the power of the Tea Party as a whole nationwide.
I'm sick of you liberals with you accusations of the Tea Party being a front for Republicans and right-wingers. Republicans are NOT the only ones who vote. The American people as a whole are sick and tired of the liberal stranglehold and do not agree with their policies and agendas. When will you get a clue and realize that that is the reason you guys are losing?
Even Obama couldn't sell out tickets the other day for a speech he gave. 650 capacity room and about 400 showed....mostly because they made the price of the tickets cheap.

Interest...could it be that the tea baggers are getting a REAL look at their candidates like Sharron Angle....and O'Donnell? Maybe they know they did not make very good decisions! Reading the article...seems they just cannot get along.

To Dont call me a liberal: Why would you want the Health Care Reform to fail? Are you a Republican or American first? If the program works it will be good for America. Which do you care more about your party or your country?

Well after the whackos keep coming forth (Palin) now the non practicing Satanist (O'Donnell) people are thinking twice about being associated with such ignorance. O'donnell "palled" around with Satanists and she said she stood at the blood soaked altar. One has to wonder what she and her other Satanist sacrificed to the altar for Lucifer. Totally crazy loons. Scary actually and then the mice supposedly she said implanted with human brains! She is embarrassing so is Palin, no wonder Palin endorsed her.
Everyone I speak to loves healthcare reform. Thank you to our President.

I think they have shown they are not all-inclusive and diverse like they claim. When you're constantly throwing out the folks who aren't lock-step with certain agendas, you may find yourself a bit lonely at the end of the day.
