I do not think they talked to many people who were making a bit more than 250k that said they wanted to pay more taxes. In many place of the country it takes that much just to get by. 250k in my opinion is not super rich. Ceo's can afford it though.

Those questioned did not get asked any other revealing question:
For example so what if a person making say 10million pays 300k in taxes. I mean from their point of view they are paying for a govt that bailed them out of financial ruin, back bank failings where their money is, provide police to keep them safe, and fire to protect their homes.

Firstly the article says nothing about where their poll was conducted. Quinnipiac University is in the 'Blue' Northeast. So one would expect support of 'Blue' political moves.
Secondly the poll says they would be in favor of tax increases....but they do not say how much...keeping in mind Obama's desire would be one of the biggest single tax hikes ever...I doubt they are signing up for Obama's vision.

My brother is one of these people. I told him he was just putting a big bullseye on himself if he voted Obama and Democrat.
He was fine with it.
I asked him if he paid anything extra to the gov't now. He has numerous tax breaks, etc. that he doesn't need to take advantage of. He basically had no answer to that.

did you read the article? Do you know who participated in the poll?
" a small number of left-leaning rich people have come out in support of paying higher taxes"

most rich people live off the wealth they already acquired...off the interest, investments, etc.
that's why I think capital gains taxes should be the same as income if that IS your annual income.

most of those complaining about taxes make too little to actually pay them
