Hunting with a camera, how is it done?

Do you need a hunting license? Do you run through the forest naked, coated with mud and leaves, hoping to blend in? Do you sneak up on the animals, unitl you can hit them in the head with the camera and knock them out?

You have to hold the strap and swing really hard. Make sure it's a really expensive camera so it's heavy. As for being naked, that isn't recommended. You can really mess up your business that way.

Do you need a hunting license? Yes.

Do you run through the forest naked, coated with mud and leaves, hoping to blend in? Yes, preferably sneaking up on bears.

Do you sneak up on the animals, unitl you can hit them in the head with the camera and knock them out? Absolutely. I recommend disposable cameras for grizzly.

Well, I'm not sure how serious your question is, but I'll give you a serious answer, if only for the sake of people who may search it out later who really are serious:

Hunting with a camera means using the same skills that would be involved in harvesting game, except instead of using some sort of weapon to kill the animal, you snap its picture. You try to get as close as you can to the game. That may involve wearing camouflage clothing, moving quietly, controlling scent, using wind direction, and/or hiding in a ground blind or tree stand. It's a great way for a beginner to learn skills that will be useful as a hunter, and it's a great form of recreation for hunters in the off-season.

No, you do not need a hunting license, but you will need to follow all applicable laws, such as not trespassing on property without permission, not harassing wildlife and not interfering with lawful hunters.

You can either get a telescopic scope or mount a camera on a tree, like most people.

Or you could go hardcore and ATTEMPT to sneak up on a deer, but most likely all you'll get is a picture of it scurrying away. Do not underestimate the senses of a deer.

You should get an Elcan digital Hunter scope. It records your shot when the gun goes off, then you can put up YouTubes of exploding Prairie Dogs and stuff.
