Car has low miles, only 19600 miles on it. Light came on when car was used in below zero weather. Auto Zone did scanner check and codes were P0300 and P1174. One day the light went off, the next it came back. Light is steady, not blinking.. I filled it up with better gas today, 89 vrs 87 octane regular. All gas has up to 10% ethanol in it around here if that matters. Drove 25 miles, light is still on. Do I have to reset light (by disconnecting the battery?) or will it reset itself if fuel was the problem. If fuel is not the problem, what is, did not expect problem with car with such low miles. Please Help. Bought this car new and never had any problem. Car seems to start and run ok, even in really cold weather. .

I have a two bulb fluorescent light fixture, it is too bright. Is there any problem with just taking one bulb out and using just one bulb. For example would it hurt the ballast or anything like that?

I had one of my belts break on my 2 belt electric Maytag DE 500 clothes dryer. So I got new belts, they are exactly the same size as the old belts, but the outside belt seem to put a lot of tension on the spring, while the inside belt is loose (slips). The inside belt is the belt on the electric motor pulley. It was the outside belt that broke. Why doesn't the tension equalize in the belts? instead of outside tight and inside loose. I re-greased that slider thing behind one of the outside belt pulleys, so that does not seem to be binding. I am stumped why this thing does not go right back together, but I am wondering if the problem is not the belt itself, but whatever caused the outside belt to break in the first place????????/

2003 Chev Malibu, makes noise when I drive staight, if I steer car to left, no change, if I steer car to right sound goes away. I replaced the right front wheel bearing/hub, but, still have noise??? Did I replace wrong bearing?

Sansui TV Picture goes black (sound still works) after about an hour of use, sometimes longer.

This is a 32 inch picture tube type. If I shut it off for awhile it works again. What is causing this, the TV is less than 8 years old, is it dust inside, or ???? How do I fix it?

Do you need a hunting license? Do you run through the forest naked, coated with mud and leaves, hoping to blend in? Do you sneak up on the animals, unitl you can hit them in the head with the camera and knock them out?

Right front brake was smelling like burnt brake pads, I took caliper off, lubed slide pins, put it back together, then stepped on brakes. Caliper was tight, I then pushed cylinder back a little with c clamp, tried it again, it was better, but maybe still a little tight. BUT fluid in master cylinder (front cap went way down). So I filled it, then bleed the right front, it was, but brake pedal when way down, would not pump up, master brake cylinder (front cap) empty, I filled it again, step on brakes, lose fluid again, where is fluid going, don't see anything leaking. Could it be going back into that vacuum in the back? 1992 Dodge Caravan. I thought I felt something 'go' when I stepped on the brake pedal, but don't know for sure.

However, just as we humans have different languages such as Chinese, English and French, do different dog breeds bark in growl in different languages, do German Shepards have a different dialet than Labradors or Poodles?

When I change oil in my car I have some drain oil, I know I can take it to the recycle place, BUT that seems a waste. Can I filter it somehow and reuse it in the car? or can I put some in an oil can and just use it to oil hinges and such, or can I use it as bar oil for my chain saw, or can I mix it with gas for 2 cycle engines, or ??? other uses ???

I am trying to save money, can I just hang my dirty laundry outside and wait for a rain storm, and then will the rain wash my clothes, and then wind dry them (after rain), for no cost to me??? I think it would save money on water, detergent, electric, gas and need to buy washer/dryer or spend money in laudromat. Will it work?
