Looking for some online references (free online use)?
I have W. E. Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words located online in several places, but NEED his Hebrew dictionary. I can't find it. I know it exists as I have the hardcopy of both Hebrew and Greek together.
I also am not finding a searchable Strong's Greek and Hebrew. I have one found, but you can only access by knowing the Strong's number first.
I'd also like an online usable Smith and Weir's Greek grammar text.
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Debbie
Hi, Hunter! Thanks for stopping by!
The Greek grammar is the one I used in college when I took Koine Greek for a year.
My Dad died in March of this year and I have his library now. His website is http://antireligion.tripod.com/
My research and reference link site is http://debbie_pittman.tripod.com/
I have extra hardcopy Bibles I'm sharing with my friends and students. Other stuff will get sold to help my mom.
I find all the Bibles and such I can esp. if I can find them free online or cheap at used bookshops or second hand places. I even had a bunch of William Tyndale's translations recently.
Keep busy in the work and Jehovah bless you.
Agape,
Debbie
I found a searchable Vine's with both languages at
http://www.eliyah.com/lexicon.html
I also found a pdf download of Herbert Weir-Smyth's Greek grammar (and others also) at
http://www.textkit.com/learn/ID/142/author_id/63/
They give free Greek and Latin courses.
Blue Letter doesn't have any of these. I'd already checked. Thanks.
