have you ever lived in a shelter for abused women?

I am grateful to say that I have not had the cause to be in any kind of shelter. I am also glad to know that one exists if I should ever need one.

My mother and brothers and I had to when we were younger yeah.

I remember it as a place that really made me feel safe for once,and aside from my being the only girl child,I had a good time while I was there.They really are great places,very supportive and helpful.

It makes me sick to my stomach that there is a need for battered women shelters. But, there is a need and I'm glad you got to one. A lot of women never make that move and things only get worse for them.

Yes, I went with my mother. They were very supportive but very strict with the rules...and they kicked you out after two months. =/

Yeah, but I got kicked out pretty fast. The battered women didn't seem to appreciate the fact that I had a penis and wanted a sammich.

No; but I'll bet that they are all very suppoirtive.
