    Marie Antoinette & John Hancock (but they didn’t die from yellow fever); here’s a list of other famous people that died that year:

    I don’t know if you could consider Dr. Jesse W. Lazear “famous’, but he died from yellow fever and he was one of the first to tie the epidemic to mosquitoes.

    Are you talking about the Philadelphia Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1793?

    If so, I haven't seen any famous casualties listed on any of the websites which describe it. Perhaps the nearest you can get is John Todd, who died leaving his wife Dolly Payne Todd a widow. She later married Virginia congressman (and eventually President) James Madison.
