how can i live in korea longer that 3 months?

My fiance is there and in the military. He has a place i can stay now but so far as I have read there is no way to stay there for longer than 3 months legally. Is there a work visa or something i can get to stay there longer?

if you have some money you can jump on the jet ferry or slow ferry from Busan to japan to renew your travellers visa every three months. thats what i did before i got my F4. when i got to japan i actually said "yah im coming back in 2 hours lol" and they were like lol. passport was good n all that.

You need a visa to stay in Korea for more than 90 days. You need someone to sponsor your visa such as a school or an employer to prove that you have a purpose to be in the country. It might be a different story if you were already married to your fiance, but for now, that's the route you need to take. Also YOU MUST APPLY FOR YOUR ALIEN REGISTRATION CARD WITHIN 90 DAYS OF YOUR ARRIVAL AT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE. If you don't so this, you'll have to pay a hefty fine, and you can sometimes be deported depending on how over the 90 days you are. I say this because I've known many people who weren't told before they came here, and they've gotten in trouble because of it.

Good luck, and enjoy your time in Korea!
