With our supposed separation of church and state which is more to blame for our current woes, God or country?

Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other.

More properly, it's not "God" as such, as I don't believe in any gods, it's religion. I think many believers would actually agree with me on this ironically.

EDIT: OURScott, "he's down-trodden enough" LOL! I blame people who have put their faith in false ideologies whether they be religious, economic, philosophical or whatever.

Why would we want to blame God? This country was founded on Christian values and the Bible. It is the liberal groups that are removing God from the country. God people though they did not do it did not prevent it.

2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The people (church) can turn this all around.

It is time to put God back in America again.

No proof of evidence of "god" in the first place

I've said it before, I'll say it again: the collective mess of irresponsible individuals & apathetic individuals.

The country is to blame. Unless the Lord lays the foundation, in vain do the laborers build.

Americans have never been real good at separation.

People.

Namely, people who put both their greed and their religion ahead of other people's lives.

Humans are to blame. God is infallible.
