Spiritually speaking, if you could get revenge on one person?

What would your revenge be?

BQ: And would you laugh a maniacal, off-your-anti-psychotic meds MUAH HA HA!! at their defeat?

Update:

((((Kelly)))) LMAO & I'm with you. Land ladies are straight from hell. I swear land lords aren't as bad, not that they're good.

I didn't have to. The only person I would ever want to get revenge on, who completely made my position in my old job untenable by lying about me behind my back, was caught shagging my replacement on the boardroom table at the christmas function. They were both married to other people and he was her boss, so they were both canned and divorced as a consequence. When I heard about it a few days later I laughed solidly for about 15 minutes.

What is justification? At the time, the parents presumably believed their actions were justified by what they felt. Society as a whole has a different view, which is why we remove the trial and the punishment from the victims and invest that power in a (hopefully) impartial judge and/or jury. 1. Do I feel the parents' action were justified? Like I said, what's justification? Looking at it from my perspective, I would say that killing those people did not undo the wrong they committed. Their daughter remained dead. All they did was lower themselves to near the level of the murderers. Is revenge ever a positive thing? What good does it do? Isn't the idea that some people are 'too evil to live' or whatever words we use to sanction death in the guise of justice just a way of avoiding having to come to terms with the violence in our natures, and the kind of people that our society can create? Doesn't it turn a blind eye to what really causes these horrible crimes by investing in criminals some mysterious, magical property of 'evil'? I cannot see that killing in that way does any good at all, besides the transitory pleasure that we have evolved to take when we have power over our competitors. 2. I don't know what I would do in that situation. I hope never to find out. I do not believe I am a violent person--but with that kind of provocation, I cannot say how I would react. This is indeed a good question. I would be interested to know how you would answer it yourself. Peace and blessings :)

  • Well, at the risk of producing bad karma, I'd have to say my landlady, the fat b/tch. I'd like to see her actually do some manual labor and maybe fall down the stairs, bouncing off of her huge @## That would be ROFLMFAO funny! Either that or I was thinking about leaving dog poop in the oven when I move.

BA: Oh yeah, and I would take pictures

(((Zee-ster))) You're right, her hubby isn't as bad, I feel sorry for him, he's the one that's married to her!

I do have a lot of people that I woild love to wreak vengance on,but in the end I wouldn't do it because in the end the pursuit of vengance is fruitless and the fact that you would seek vengance means that the person you want to get even with wins because you've lowered yourself to their level!

I wouldn't invite them to my wedding with Tim Tebow. That wedding is an event everybody is madly looking forward to and not being invited would be a torture for anyone.

  • Normally I don't have to instigate my own revenge. My foes seem to screw themselves over just fine without my help.

BQ- Yes I would and often do.
