What would be my mile & 2 mile time in track?
Im currently a freshman and run cross country. My pr is 17:19 and this is my 2nd year running. I plan on running track for my first time(played baseball in middle school) and i was wondering what would be a good estimate of my mile time and 2 mile based on my 5k?

17:19 is your 5k time?
That's about 5:30 pace
assuming it is up and down hill, I would say you can break into the 4:45 range for 1 mile and wld have a chance for sub-10:00 in 2-mile

A good starting mile time would be 5:30 and for the 2 mile 11:15 would be great.

if you train really hard in track and have a great coach you can be running about 4:35 actually, and deff sub-10 for a 2 mile, kids on my team run your xc time and then do those track times. =]
