Need ideas for soft food for a toddler?

My 2 yr old has blisters in his mouth which is making him not want to eat his regular meals .

Ive been trying to think of some soft food he might want but so far all i can think of yogurt or custard .. but i really want something a bit healthier for him and nothing hot as he wont go near it .

Any ideas??

Do Not give him anything acidic like fruit juice, apples, oranges etc. Try mashed up banana, cooked plain pasta and of course his usual milk. Keep foods tepid (not to hot or cold). Or try him on ice blocks if this makes him feel better. Don't be too worried if he is off his food for a few days as long as he is getting plenty of fluids. Also keep an eye on his temperature and give paracetamol. Keep him away from other children as this is very contagious My daughter had Hand, foot and mouth disease at about the same age and was better within a week.

    Bananas

    Avocado pieces

    Soft carrots

Mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes serve lukewarm

    Yogurt

    Cooked pasta - serve lukewarm

    Cottage Cheese

    Scrambed egg

Tuna from the can - very flaky and easy to chew

Homemade Soup - puree any large veggies or meat and serve lukewarm

if you get plain yogurt it is really good for you actually. calcium and high protein not all sugared up like the fake stuff.

try cottage cheese. my 2 year old loves cottage cheese. other than that i also agree puree some fruits and vegis.

Mashed fruit, e.g. apples, bananas, etc.

You can cut pears into small pieces, then cook them in water with 1 teaspoon of sugar.

    Peanut butter?

    Soft bread?
