Well, it's accurate in a sense. Red=energy, activity, etc.

To me the color of love is white. Like a blank sheet of paper. We all start a new beginning on that love, and only through time can we see its true colors.

Society presents it as Red. Red on valentines and cards =Love, Passion and Fire. But I agree with the first answer; red is also the color of blood, anger, and death. :-o Those are two completely opposite connotations!

Another good color for love could be white? White for weddings, bridal gowns, and wedding cakes. White because it represents purity and life, and when you are really, really in love someone, the love is pure.

I never did really enjoy the colors red and pink anyway. :P

I'd say it's a mix.

Ehh in most cases it's kind of white....I heard for some men it's a bit yellowish.
