I have a friend who feeds her cats nothing but hard boiled eggs is this good for the cat?

Eggs are healthy for cats, but they shouldn't be all a cat eats! If she wants to feed them a home-made diet, good for her! Home-made cat food can be very healthy if done correctly. Perhaps you could find several decent cat food recipes online and print them out for her? You could also suggest a raw diet.

I imagine she feeds them eggs because she loves them and wants to do whats best for them, but eating only eggs isn't balanced, so don't be too hard on her.

Contact the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) immediately on your friend because that is animal cruelty to deprive an animal of food and fresh water and veterinary care, if you don't they will hold you as an accessory to the animal cruelty case and both you and your friend will face a hefty fine and a prison sentence which both of you deserve. shame on on you both for letting those poor innocent creatures strave! in fact i'm contacting Yahoo toll free number to get your information i find it appalling that you do nothing for these kittens when they deserve a better life and home. i have No sympathy for you or your friend only for those cats.

P.S no cats can't eat boiled eggs that will kill them. poor little things.

Your friend needs to hear from a professional source....she will hopefully listen to them. You can also use the feeding guide lines that Purina and other cat food manufactures recommend on their food labels. Her feeding balance is way off to be healthy, if she doesn't listen....keep sneaking them the canned or dry....that's what I'd do.

They probably like it better than that nasty cat food crap. Most cats like eggs, and as they are carnivores, this is probably fine.
