I'd suggest reading the _Tao of Pooh_.
It's a prime example of finding Spirituality wherever you look.

First how come i have to have a god to have in inspiration. You can get Inspirationon from anything or anyone. The world is full of great thing that inspire people every day. you are narrow minded if u can only get Inspirationon from something that u will never fully understand.

I've never seen an atheist section in a bookstore. Even in the very large, two story book stores in my area (like Borders or Barne's and Noble), there is only a Religion Section, Spirituality Section, and a Philosophy Section. The books about or by atheists can be found scattered among these sections. I found Sam Harris' "End of Faith" in the religion section at a large local bookstore. In the larger bookstores, there is an extensive section on Christianity but no specific section for any other religion. You don't see a Buddhism or Atheist isle. The bookstore closest to me is very small and has almost nothing on these subjects. I usually have to have them order a book I am interested in in order to get it without driving to one of the larger stores.

I find inspiraiton for different things in different places. I have emotions, wants, aims, ambitions, aspirations etc, about all sorts of things I care about.
Much the same as when I was a Christian, and so I think that many people's real inspiration comes from within, even though they attribute it to their belief in a god.

Good question. I find my inspiration in nature itself. Walking through the woods, the desert...Just wherever. I find a great deal of inspiration from the two daughters of the singer of our band. One is 3 yrs. and the other is 5. They bring so much joy and happiness to my life each time I see them. I find tons of inspiration in music and the arts. You see, for me, inspiration is all around without the need of any deity or religious dogma. Life is what you make of it, and I make good use of it each day. No little black book full of fairy tales, no pious preacher telling me how I'm to think and live, no cliques to measure up to...Inspiration can be anything from the simple joy of a great sandwich to seeing a lizard cross your path. It's all in how you view life. And life is great.

Listening to Grateful Dead music. Listening to my husband and son who play together in a band. Going to the Monterey Peninsula - Point Lobos, Big Sur, Carmel - I'm always inspired by the beauty of nature. There's more.....

Huh?
You are assuming that just because atheists don't believe in God, that they aren't inspired by beautiful things, and that they only find logic and reason inspiring? How ignorant and closed mind is that?
I don't have to have a belief in god to find a sunset beautiful enough that I might feel inspired to paint it.
I don't have to believe in any god to be inspired by my love for my husband, to make him his favorite dinner.
I don't have to believe in any god to be inspired by a glittering spiderweb on an autumn morning and in turn think about that crochet project I hadn't completed yet.
I don't have to believe in any god to write fantasy fiction - and in fact, I tend to think not being confined by belief in some narrow-minded viewpoint of God actually inspires me more, because I'm not limited by guilt for writing about things like magic and fantastical beasts and other gods that I make up in my own head.
(Which is all your god is anyway - made up in your head.)

That way to state that's it sound like you don't think christians have logic and reason. point for the atheists? haha
I get my inspiration from my self, it is called being self motivated.

My mind, observation of the world and the juxtaposition of items,
From problem-solving, and from taking ideas and running with them, especially following them into absurdity or humour. From noting conventions, and then seeing if it is better to invert of subvert them.
Being a member of more than one minority helps... The mainstream provides a rich source of food for thought (and horrors) which a member of the mainstream or social majority would hardly notice.

Music. I love all kinds of music, from Back to Black Sabbath, and listening to a good piece can inspire me and really lift my mood.

Often I find inspiration in children.
