Infant with Acid Reflux...Suggestions?
My daughter is almost 7 weeks old and has severe acid reflux. So far I'm feeding her smaller meals more frequently, keeping her upright a good amount of the day and night, I changed her formula, took her to the doctor and he gave her Zantac, and I'm thickening her formula with rice cereal. Does anyone else have any other suggestions on how to help soothe and calm reflux in infants?
Please and thank you<3

We tried Zantac and Reglan before we got Prevacid and that has been the only thing that has worked for both my boys. Best wishes to you! Reflux is Awful in infants!

Zantac did wonders for my son so give it a little time to start working. It sounds you are doing everything you can we would use his bouncer and sit him (too small to make it bounce) in it for 30min after eating and there are some very nice reclining pads you can buckle them in and put in their crib until they start moving a lot. Also the Dr. Brown bottles make all the difference in the world. Good luck hope this helps.
here is a good recliner

I would hold off on the rice cereal. Most babies' digestive systems are not well developed for adding extras until 3-4 months of age. Talk to your pediatrician.
