Elaborate...who's changing the Bible?
Some things have changed over time...like Jesus coming changed certain things because He offered salvation by grace and faith in HIm...it's like looking at an old person who's name is John Smith and saying he's really not John Smith because he doesn't look like he looked 40 years ago...he's the same person but has evolved...God is the same forever but things on earth have changed...

From the beginning, Christians have updated the Hebrew and Greek Bible by translating it into new languages. Translation always subtly alters texts because meaning depends on the translator's point of view.
Ancient vocabularies can lose their original meaning over time. Even the Divine Name has been updated to Jehovah, Yahweh, and other names.
The New Testament advises slaves to be obedient to their masters because slavery was a given in Roman society; writers did not anticipate that men would all but abolish it by the 20th century (exceptions, incidentally, are sex slavery and third-world sweatshops).
The admonitions for women to keep silent and for married men to be leaders are also considered outmoded by most mainline denominations. The statute not to eat meat given to idols is another case in point.
Reading the Bible with a knowledge of the first-century Roman Empire and its mindset is crucial. It's not so much a matter of changing the Bible but understanding its cultural parameters and deciding which verses no longer apply.

you're impressive. there are various diverse translations of the bible. i think some translations are merely translations of the King James version, no longer inevitably a re-examination of the classic manuscripts. in spite of the case, that's complete with the assumption of growing to be the bible greater handy to examine and "digest." many persons are intimidated via the 1611 King James version. and that i think of its justified because of the fact even the words we understand might have a diverse which potential because of the fact English has replaced throughout the time of the centuries. If all of us can accept as true with that, then it variety of feels purely appropriate that the English used interior the interpretation is as much as date to the words we use immediately so we get the message because it became meant. So I have not have been given any situation with the different variations of the bible. because of the fact interior the top all of us gets to a similar expertise. it is the reason I additionally do no longer positioned lots inventory into preachers who dissect that English translation of their sermons. What makes their translation greater advantageous than another scholars? interior the top it is not some observe or a punctuation mark, it particularly is proper to the message. it particularly is the message it is still consistent throughout the time of the a while in spite of if that's given to us in 1611 old English or 2008 present day English. God Bless!!!

The Bible hasn't been "changed". There are many translations, but they do not change the Bible. Once in a while something comes out a bit differently, but the underlying Greek NT and Septuagint version of the OT are known, and remain unchanged.
Blessings.

"They change it all the time in order to keep their religion alive since science is proving them wrong all the time"
It's atheists that jump from one hot brick to another. If you have the guts check out how many scientists are Christian and how many are atheists. Wonder how you got to high school bribed the teachers? Or does you school allows you to go to higher grades even though you flunk in science?
" Bible said that the earth was around 6000 years old"

Man is to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and that can only happen through a study of God's Word. Man is forbidden to conform to this world. Therefore, the times must change to conform with the Bible, not the other way around.

The liberal theologists most certainly believe that it is okay to change the Bible. But then they believe that it is okay to change stuff just for the sake of changiing stuff. Hey, it works, but it must be obsolete after so many years. Right? Right?
The Bible has to remain unchanged so that its message remains unchanged. It's message is relevant to every generation no matter what type of society people happen to live in.

They wouldn't change it as such... They'd take the teachings from the bible, but change the metaphors and stories into more modern ones. Its been done already...

Not the conservative ones. It's much like politics. Liberals believe it's ok to change the original documents while conservatives like to keep the original and it's meaning.
