I was going over some notes for my global affairs final and i was looking at the relations between US and Taliban. There was really no conflict until 9/11, and the conflict was that the Taliban refused to give location of Al Qaeda because the US failed to give them evidence for their allegations against Al Qaeda. Was that really enough for the US to designate them as a terrorist organization (especially after sharing some ideals e.g. war on drugs)? or am i missing something additional in my notes that may make it clearer? thanks

I have a table and its X value starts with 400. I have to make a scatter plot and make it so that the X starts with 400 rather than 0. How do I make the X start with 400 on the graph?

Everyone seems to worry about retirement and social security in the US. Lets face it, social security is a a failed system. What I don't get is why we treat retirement like its the most impossible thing in the world. But if people retire, they wont make money, meaning they wont be able to support themselves, so without a social security system, who's going to take care of the retirees?

Well I have another question, who takes care of babies and children until they become 18? That's easy, the parents. So why can't it be the other way around? If your parents took care of you for at least 18 years, why do us, Americans, have to create a failing system that's bankrupting our country just so that it can take care of our parents. I understand that not every couple has kids, but if the couples that did have kids and the social security was limited to those who didn't it wouldn't suck as much.

I just want your feedback on this outrageous idea, and want to know why this can't work.

why is the Israeli government so controlling and how come this man is not give the right to say his opinion?

I forgot how it happened, but one time in class I got a piece of pencil lead stuck in my thumb. It went in pretty deep and I tried to take it out with tweezers. I got most of it out thinking I got the whole thing out, but a month later I noticed a small black dot deep in my thumb. Its been over two years and it hasn't really dissolved or attempted to come out by itself, is it harmful to have granite #2 lead in you body over long periods of time. If its not really life threatening then I guess I'll just leave it be.

i live in illinois, i have a sibling asready going there,

i go to a private school and have taken an average of 9 classes a semester every year, these are some of the classes i have taken

English 4 years (2 years of honors)

Math 4 years (pre calc is the most advanced math i've taken)

History 3 years

Sciences 6 years:

[2 years of bio (1 year of AP)

2 Years of Chem (1 year AP)

1 year of physics

1 year AP env. science]

4 years of foreign language (arabic)

many other electives

i have the acc. GPA of 3.263

but i am in the top 50% of my graduating class

my ACT score is 24 (i retook the act and it is most likely a couple points higher)

and i have over 250 hours of community service

my GPA isnt that impressive and im not sure about my ACT, what are my chances of getting in????

I've heard many good things about Ibanez, I'm attracted to the price Rogue has to offer, and I don't know much about dean. Can you guys please look at the links and see the details on the basses and according to their prices tell me which one is offering the best price for what their selling.

i have never played bass before so i want to know if i should get the 3/4 size of a bass or the full bass.

im 6 " 2 and i have long fingers, so which one should i get.

i also want to know the difference between a 3/4th and full sized bass other than the size...is it worth getting a 3/4th bass in my situation?
