Eye conditions can be different for dogs and need different medications, do not take the risk to put visine in do not do it.
Good luck

It sounds as though your dog as some sort of infection or very bad inflammation. Visine is not going to offer any relief and the "get the red out" ingredients may cause harm. One safe thing you can use is sterile saline or an eye rinse. This will only work to flush the eye and would be completely safe for your dog (assuming she let's you put it in). Definitely get to the vet as soon as possible.

First thing would do is to call the VET, that way they can direct you and ASK you questions about the dogs eye, and you can give them answers based on what they are asking you. They may tell you to flush the dog's eye with water or saline if you have it on hand. Or they may send you to the drug store to get something, but that is where I would start.
Since you are having someone take her to the vet anyway, may as well get a head start on what to do, from the vet she will be going to.

no, definitely don't put Visine in the eye since it's is used to constrict the blood vessels in the eye to get the redness out and not to flush the eye out. I would recommend you leave the eye alone until it's examined by a vet so you don't do any damage to it

If your pet has an eye infection, visine will certainly not help to improve it. Just try to get your Lacy to a veterinarian as soon as you can. Dogs can go blind too.
