In the medieval times, how did they build the cannon 'Pot De Fer'?
An image can be found here, this is an experimental one built a few years ago, i was just wondering how they managed to get the shape in the medieval times.

Did they use a mold for it or did they somehow bend a piece of metal into the shape?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The used a mould (not a mold). They sculpted sand into the desired shape and poured in molten metal.
