    And also the fact that it's not taxed and remitted to the state. That, and you never know if the seller is an undercover cop.

    its against craigslist Terms of Use to sell alcoholic beverages

    now if the company wanted to and catches you breaking the terms of use they could sue (unlikey)

    its illegal to sell alcoholic beverages without a tightly controlled and expensive licence...which someone on cragislist likely doesn't have

    its likely NOT illegal to purchase it, (if you are of legal purchasing age) since you don't have to have any special licence to purchase alcohol, and you don't mind breaking terms of use on craigslist.

    legal..... not if ya live in the states. its due to the inablility to control its sale to legal age adults.
