First time using a tree stand...?

It's my first year using a tree stand. I am well aware of how to use this and how to hunt from one and set one up. I have been hunting on the ground for around four years now but I figured it was time for me to finally get up in the tree.

With my tree stand, the local sporting goods manager pointed me in the direction of a chest safety harness because of my body type and size, plus with some other health conditions he said it would be better for me than the full body.

I got the thing home and realized, I have no idea how to put it on. Is there anywhere online where I can go to see how to use my safety harness correctly or can someone simply tell me how to do so? I'd rather try to find out how to use it online before I drove all the way back down to the store and have them to demonstrate. My father also took a look at it and couldn't figure out how to use it.

Can someone help me?

Update:

I know I could get killed in the tree stand if I fall out, that is the sole purpose of wanting to know how to use my safety harness correctly. It would be nice if you could just tell me how to strap it around me. That'd be good.

Update 2:

Oh, and I have no idea what the name of the harness is. It was my dad's from a few years ago before he got a new one. He used it once and didn't like it so he bought a new one and kept this one for me until I was "old enough" to hunt out of a stand and felt comfortable doing so. We have no paperwork on it.

Take that tree stand back and get your money back.

There was an incident in PA just a few weeks back during the archery season for deer. A man's tree stand slipped just a couple of feet from under him. The so-called saftety harness was around his waist and from his own weight creeped up to his abdomen. The nylon harness then constricted his diaphram and he was unable to breath. He died from asphixiation.

Just as long as it doesn't get tangled with the straps to your helmet, I think you'll be fine =]
