With the Republicans in control of Congress and a Democrat president.?

Do you believe that the Republicans will again shut down the federal government as they did under Newt Gingrich and their Contract with America?

That is the problem. People believe that a few seats gained by Republicans and Conservatives will change things overnight.

This is going to do nothing more than cause more issues. Now we will have the House and Senate fighting with each other and Obama pulling out his Veto pen for anything the Republicans try to pass and more anger from the voters.

It will be the president's vetoes that shut down the government. It just about doomed slick willie until Dick Morris talked him into moving to the center. If Obama proves obstinately stupid and partisan he will do even more damage to himself and his pinko cronies, and 2012 may be a major repeat of 2010.

I pray every day our government and 'representatives' will grow some common sense and start putting the country ahead of party and agendas.

At least Pelosi is launched like a bottle rocket out her seat. That's the first great thing.
