Why don't we see the anti-war demonstrations on the news anymore?

    The last protest was in March of this year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_20,_2010_anti-w... It got the usual smattering of news coverage. But today differs from the Vietnam War era in that too many people are fighting for their economic lives to stop to protest, and the students of today are not that connected to world affairs enough to care.

    When did you EVER see an anti-war demonstration on the news?

    (My local stations were too busy covering the pro-war Rally for America's they were sponsoring.)

    because no one wants the wars anymore....but we are still engaged in them...the defense complex rules the nation
