Olive Oil as skin treatment.?

I've heard that Olive Oil is meant to be really good for your skin (like when you rub it on), and I think there are Olive Oil based skincare treatments... but I just wanted to know would it be the same if I literally used the Olive Oil in my kitchen now? Would it do anything for my skin.

Also would it possibly help in reducing back acne?

Thanks for any help

Sudocreme is best for back acne, olive oil is great for skin and hair, and can be used straight. Try mixing olive oil with crushed salt and using it as an exfoliator, will also help the back ance!
