talking about a.d.h.d.?
i have a doctors appointment tomorrow to talk about my concentration issues. im visiting my regular doctor not a specialist. i didnt know where i should start. ive had this problem since i was a kid but my parents chose to ignore the issue. t talked to a friend who told me to approach my doctor and im going to try but i just dont wanna look like a crazy person . tips and advice would be great.
-im in college now and my grades have always been suffering i am never able to sit down and study or get anything done on time.
- i have issues remembering things, few minutes after someone tells me something.
-i zone out while im driving
-i have issues get my act together, even though im starting to fail school now i just cant bring myself to finish my work. my friends offered me stimulants but i dont want to self diagnosis myself and i dont want to take medications that i have no business taking.
i dont feel comftorable talking to my parents its not an option me at this moment. so what would my doctor say will she be able to help me or will she think im crazy. i also have issues controlling my emotions. im very sensitive and i break into tears easily.
i would also like to know if i will need therapy of some sort or medications. and are these medications gonna have a negative effect on my body

You are doing the right thing by starting off with your doctor. Don't worry you're not crazy alot of people go through this in life.
