Did Cowboys use their challenge in first half?
I missed the first 20 minutes of the Cowboys game... did they lose their challenge during that time, since they did not challenge the obvious 'knee down' on the kick-off, just before the half?
Or could they not use it since they were out of time outs?
That was such an obvious call, though... even in real-time the guy was obviously down. Not that the Packers needed the extra 7 points anyway.

If you don't have a time out to lose, you can't challenge. The commentators said the refs normally let that type of play play out rather than blow the whistle to soon. Since the Cowboys couldn't challenge, Green Bay got the touchdown.

You and the third answerer are correct. The Cowboys were out of timeouts, and therefore couldn't challenge it.
