Big Red Bump on the top of my shoulder? 10 points!?

I have a big red bump on the top of my shoulder, I'm not sure if it's a bite, pimple, or something else..

I just want to know if its anything to seriously worry about?

Basically, it's a red lump the size of like 1/2 a golf ball. And it's just red, no black/white/purple/green/etc spots, just red.

I don't feel sick, it does hurt but just like a zit would hurt when you touch it.

I heart it could be anything like an ingrown hair, pimple, blemish?

If you think you know what it might be, please provide tips on how to remove it? With what household item? Or just to leave it alone if it will go away on its own..
