    It was a plane.Bloke on CNN last night,some sort of contrail watching enthusiast(yeah,I know!) had pics of similar incidences to back it up.The object was actually travelling towards the people filming and gave the illusion of going up.So panic ye not.

    That's something we may never know. The powers that be may admit to each other if it happened but never to the public.
