Say Hey John, we're headed down to Pizza Hut, you want us to wait for you to shower/change or will you meet us there? What do you want water, tea, Pepsi? We're probably going to get a couple of those Medium 3 topping pizzas, do you have any preferences...

BOOM. He's got to come up with an answer. If he says, "No, I better not eat anything like that, but I'll stop by for water/conversation..." (He's interested...) If he's like, "Nah, I'm going to go on home, I'm bushed. Thanks for asking.." That's probably strike one.

Then again, he may follow up with... "Can I call you for tomorrow night?" OR he may say, "I'd love to... I'll meet you there in about 15 minutes... Anything is find, but no mushrooms, I'm allergic..."
