Since the guy that had a bomb in his crotch failed to blow up I would let TSA search me, xray me, wand me. I don't see why this is a problem for some people, I rather be inconvenienced for a few minutes then get on a plane with some terrorist nut job and get killed. People will protest TSA's new screening protocol, get TSA to stop and when a tragedy happens they will claim TSA didn't do enough to prevent it. If people don't want screening then don't fly, take the train or a boat. The rest of us that want to fly can go through the screening no problem.

Some guy brought up a interesting point on a radio show i was listening to today. He said he has a 11 year old daughter and his family will be traveling on a trip shortly. He was concerned because he does not want some man (maybe a pedo? Who knows) running his hands up and down his little girls body-would you be ok with that? And think of the little girl, she is going to feel so violated from that regardless if the man has bad intentions or not.

Also those new body scanners, wouldnt that be almost like child porn if you stick a little girl in the thing?

Only cowards and losers are willing to give up their 4th amendment rights for safety and security so says Ben Franklin. They are not beaming radiation at me or patting me down without showing cause. I wish the rest of the traveling public would stop being wusses and demand this stop. It is not going to stop a determined terrorist anyway since not everyone goes through the screening. Just say no and go on the ACLU website and describe any intimidation or touching of genitalia that happens to you. I will not change my mind of this no matter how many planes they fly into buildings.

If these protocols weren't necessary right after 9/11, they are not necessary now.

Were people furious at the Bush administration when 9/11 happened, or did they just bend over and accept the excuses?

It's just systematic chipping away at our freedoms.

Everyone who is for the TSA's new procedures, run out to the street, shed every scrap of clothing you are wearing, and dance! I'm sure you'd enjoy THAT! hehe.

In a nutshell, NO. Only a complete vegetable would actually allow him/herself to be groped, strip searched, prodded, x-ray bombarded, HUMILIATED, etc.

For, I really don't mind, so long as I'm safe. The TSA workers see it 1000's of times a day, I'm pretty sure they don't really care much anymore.
