Are u sick of cable prices?

For anyone with good over-the-air reception, there's a lot to be said for putting up a very good antenna and just going with DSL for the Internet. One can get DSL for around $20 to $35, depending on promotional deals and options, and the over-the-air TV is free. As a bonus, there is no HD broadcast picture with better resolution than what you'll receive over the air. You can even buy an HD tuner/recorder that functions exactly the same as a cable or satellite DVR.

It boils down to asking yourself if the extra $60 to $100 a month you pay for the likes of ESPN and HBO is really worth it. Note that that's like $720 to $1200 per year. You can buy your antenna, mast, rotor and even that over-the-air DVR for less, and it's a one-time expense.

I agree. There was hardly ever signal problems when I could use the good old fashioned analogue antenna, plus I don't want half of the rubbish channels forced on me nowadays. Well said.

We'll never be able to go back though, the greedy companies would lose too much money.
