What is wrong with my dog? Please help!?
Every time my dog sees either me or my husband putting on clothes or shoes, and grabbing her leash, she all of a sudden has to pee. It is very frustrating for us because we have to try and hide the leash before we take her outside just so she won't pee on the carpet. Then, by the time we have the door open for her to go out, we call for her to come here, and she won't budge. She just sits there and starts to pee. But before she even sees us preparing to take her out, she doesn't appear to have to pee at all. What can we do? What does this mean?
Thanks. She's 5 1/2 months old.

You should give her a proper time to train her when and where to pee.For this purpose you should choose a best method to teach her to avoid this habit.I think you should take her out for many times in the beginning.when she was out for many times she will pee there. For this you should reward her.So Reward technique is a best technique for her to avoid this technique.

Well it might be that she gets over excited when she sees you guys getting ready for a walk, my dogs get excited when we head for the leashes. It also might be that she has a weak bladder and can't hold it. I would talk to you vet about it though that might help. Also the age of the dog effects it to. When my dog was old, he could hold I has long and if he wasn't taken out the he would go on the floor.
