Now that Bush officially stated that he authorized the use of water-boarding on Gitmo detainees, is it possible that he could be charged with war crimes?

It's highly unlikely. Firstly, he's a former president, which means he's granted immunity if he can prove that the actions he took were conducted for the sake of national security. Secondly, he may argue that the Geneva convention did not apply to terrorists, since it only dealt with civilians and national soldiers, not members of paramilitary groups or terrorist organizations. Lastly, the courts realize that any trial would likely result in failure since many of the files on torture are classified top secret, and leaked documents would thus likely not be accepted as evidence in the trial, because they were obtained illegally.

It`s possible although unlikely. But there is a legal precedence from the second world war where those who did waterboarding on American prisoners of war were tried under the Geneva convention found guilty and executed.

i don't understand yet bin weighted down likes our new way of dealing with terrorists extra effective than the Bush way. decrease than the Bush administration we made them undergo a sprint soreness with the intention to get suggestions and keep American lives. Now, we suggestions them and attempt to construct their vanity so as that they're going to like us and sometime would recover from the urge to kill us and our little ones.

Given the hypocrisy & double standards in life, I do not believe "everyone" is held accountable for their actions... so I'd think not.
