What's everyone's favorite coyote/predator call?

I am leaning toward a Primos remote electronic call since it can be placed away from my cover. I have borad, open flat areas with low sagebrush. It provides little cover for 'yotes and me...

Also considering a cheapo injured rabbit call. Worth the money for an electronic one?

I also plan on using a lure and some nasty chicken bait. Its not my first rodeo, but most of the coyote hunting ive done is a fish in the barrel kind of thing. They are getting smarter now....

If you are going to go with an e-call foxpro is the way to go.

as far as hand calls Check this guys calls out they are amazing and made in the USofA if anything happens and you ruin a reed ship it back hell fix it if you dont like it let him know he will replace it this guy is grade A++ i have one of his rubber rabbits, a rabbid rabbit extreme, and another custom one he made and they are all amazingly easy to use and sound A LOT better than any primos hand call

    http://www.carverpredatorcalls.com/callsale1.html

The rubber rabbit is the call i suggest. it is rubber so it is weather proof also since its rubber if you have a lanyard its not noisy when it bangs together. the other one the rabbid rabbit extreme i just got from him thursday night so i havent done much with it but so far its VERY loud. the custom one is pretty much like a rubber rabbit just made of a red palm wood and it looks amazing. and for 15 bucks for a rubber rabbit and 12 bucks for a rabbid rabbit they are cheap. most mass produce calls start at $15 and they dont have nearly the customer service.

EDIT: if you are wanting a call you can go buy at a store the one i suggest is the Primos lil'dog its a pretty good all around call. Also the Verminator Tweedy series are ok calls for bobcats and coyotes but they are more coaxers than anything. i still say get a rubber rabbit either closed or open reed and you wont regret it. the closed reed will be easiest to use

Source(s): I could write a book about this guy i also asked him for a few different reeds for my rubber rabbit so i could change it between jack and cottontail sounds and i only expected 2 or 3 reeds... he sent me 15 reeds.

I use the gut pile from my deer kills.

Shot a Coyote from my tree stand yesterday as a matter of fact was deer hunting though and that lightfield 1 1/4 ounce 3" mag deer slug did not do him any favors LOL

    Wounded rabbit call.

On a side note, when I plink the birds off the power line, I'll pile them up and put them in the field. They go rabbid over them!

It'll take me a while yet but I'm liking Mo, the nerdy student with big ears and the cookie monster!

I prefer to use my neighbors cat, I just put my trap on my door step and wait until the cat comes over to piss on my door. He makes alot of noise when I leave him in the trap out in the middle of the field and brings the coyotes running, when I am done I release it back at home. You would think it would learn
