What is your experience with cowboy apple chips?
I bought some cowboy brand apple chips from lowes and they smell a bit strange. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with them? Im doing a turkey for thanksgiving.

I Have used them to smoke ribs but not turkey. They leave a sweet but lite fruity taste in the meat. I think it would work great on a turkey. It would complement the cranberry sauce.
