Do you think we should have laws to protect the bad people.?

Killers

Terrorists

Rapists

Gangs members

Drug Runners...etc

All they get to do is wait it out in comfort while people try to figure out what to do with them.

What do you guys think.

You mean laws that specifically grant guilty individuals special protections? No. And our legal system doesn't do that. The protections that most people claim is for the benefit of criminals are actually in place to protect the innocent. The right to a fair trial, due process, no self-incrimination, etc. are all there to protect you and me from being wrongfully tossed into a hole for the rest of our lives when we've done nothing wrong. The fact that "bad people" are also protected is a necessary result. Unless, of course, you'd rather live in a society where individual cops serve as judge, jury, and executioner with absolutely no limits, rules, or oversight.

    Yes,

That's the difference between the USA and other countries of the world. Do we really want to be like North Korea and Iran?

Granted, I've never been in prison....but after watching a few of those shows about life behind bars...I'd hardly call it comfortable.

no! but these guys been in and out so much they know the law like the back of their hand/split the law loop holes/lawyers who are shady; there is no law that is 100% solid and that is where the law spiltting begins

"bad people" are still people. I think lifers should have less privileges, like no TVs, no news papers, etc, but I still think they should still have basic human rights. I don't think ANYONE deserves to be raped and that should be illegal, even if it's a "bad guy" being victimizes.

they have so many people protecting them with all the crooked lawyers around getting big money and getting the court system to release them without punishment or short terms

There are waaaaaaaaaaay too many laws. Most of them are sooooo stupid. If there would be a law to protect gang members and drug dealers, african-american people would be immortal. Just saying.
