HELP WHAT IS BETTER B20 OR H22 FOR A 98 CIVIC?

want to swap my original engine 1.6 SINGLE CAM V-TECH but don't know what to go with a b20 or a h22 what is better which is faster my car is automatic now also wondering if i put either engine will i have to change the tranny so it would be stick shift

    why do you want to swap ourt your engine in a civic. Engine swaps entile alot more than just droping in an engine as well. sometimes you have to change your mounts, sensors the whole 9 yards. i don't think the h22 comes for the civic, just prelude and accord. I would stick with the B20 though, thats if you got the cash for the swap. i would also go with a swap for a manuel if possible (a lot more usable power). Please don't put a huge fart can on the end of your exhaust when your done as well, its annoying, it dosn't increase power, it can even decrease power, and it looks gay.

    I agree with yoursolution. I think I would have to go with a B20 as well. It is definitely worth the expense.
