Do You Think It's okay to murder babies?

Some here may have said to this 'kid' not to tell adults to not have sex.

Fine. I'm an adult, and I'll tell them: don't have sex. If you don't have sex ever again, guess what? You won't die.

And neither would any child that you didn't want.

In this argument, it really boils down to 'my pleasure versus your life.' How absolutely and brazenly repugnant.

No birth control is 100% effective; and a person is genetically different from the moment of conception. If a person is 100% dependent on life support to live, we don't, at that point, say he ceases to be a person; especially if that dependency is just for a short time. We also don't say if a person is a quadruple amputee he ceases to be a person; we would never say that if his limbs could be regrown or reattached at some point in time. A new, genetically distinct human is a human; his state of early development or total dependency on his mother for life support does not change this reality. The term fetus as opposed to baby is either purely descriptive (as in, a fetal human, but still a human, nonetheless) or is only there to arbitrarily soften the moral guilt felt if someone finds his life too 'inconvenient.'

Even using birth control-- (and the assumption is non-aborting birth control, at that) people still shouldn't engage in sexual activity unless they are prepared to have and raise what children may come.

First of all, Christians murder men, women, and children all the time. So do non-Christan's.

This is blatant overgeneralization. What if there's no way the mother would be able to take care of a baby? What if it endangers the mother's health? I don't really suggest sending the baby to the already overcrowded child services system where it would be lucky to be adopted at all.

Sex isn't just about reproduction, it's natural and healthy to do; just use birth control. Women have the right to their own body, and if they want to abort a fetus (not a baby) that's their choice.

Gosh, the bible seems to condone the wholesale murder of men, women, children, and babies--even pregnant women.

And do you think it's okay to murder animals? You do every time you eat meat. And in the U.S. alone, 10 billion sentient land animals are murdered for YOUR tastebuds every year. You can't be pro-life if you eat dead animals.

Anyway, responsible adults who don't want to have babies use contraception. It doesn't completely eliminate unwanted pregnancies, but it does sharply reduce the chances.

And I'd love to hear you tell a rape victim that she has to carry the resultant pregnancy to term so as not to "punish the father by killing his child".

A person can't be forced even to donate blood to save somebody else. Thus, a woman should not be forced to carry a fetus that she doesn't want.

Actually, God and the Bible are not against abortion or killing babies:

First, about 1/3 of all pregnancies end in a natural abortion. This makes God (who supposedly controls everything) the biggest abortionist of all.

Its not a baby.....the baby is not completely form until few months after.....by the time abortion is done (usually 3-4 weeks) is just a whole bunch of cells together. It doesnt have a brain, any organs, any defined body parts. So its not a baby.

In other words, abortion.

Me? I think it should be done only in cases where the baby would live to suffer--if there were crippling or alienating defects.

Tell that to a rape victim whom gets pregnant.

The pro choice/abortion crowd is all about dehumanization. If the baby is not a person, it is ok to kill it.
