Hey Wikileak supporters, Why don't we just substitute your name and address for those in the documents?

After all, they put no one at risk so what difference does it make which name appears?

“1,300 people were eventually killed, and 350,000 were displaced. That was a result of our leak.”

Show me on document that puts someone in danger. I still have not seen one leak that puts lives in danger and I have read through many of the leaks. Give me a link, show me the light or admit your premise is false.

I do not support Wikileaks but i do support the 1st Amendment. All Wikileak did was post some embarrassing information.

The Pentagon Papers case the government sought a restraining order against the Times and the Washington Post

“In the First Amendment the Founding Fathers gave the free press the protection it must have to fulfill its essential role in our democracy. The press was to serve the governed, not the governors. The Government's power to censor the press was abolished so that the press would remain forever free to censure the Government. The press was protected so that it could bare the secrets of government and inform the people. Only a free and unrestrained press can effectively expose deception in government. And paramount among the responsibilities of a free press is the duty to prevent any part of the government from deceiving the people and sending them off to distant lands to die of foreign fevers and foreign shot and shell. In my view, far from deserving condemnation for their courageous reporting, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other newspapers should be commended for serving the purpose that the Founding Fathers saw so clearly. In revealing the workings of government that led to the Vietnam war, the newspapers nobly did precisely that which the Founders hoped and trusted they would do. “ ~ Justice Black

They put one person at risk. Julian Assange.

To suggest something like this is a really great way to show people how ignorant you are.

Why not the Israelis got away with swapping a countries citizens passports to enter a country to commit murder.

Do you really think the people whose identity they stole weren't in danger.
