I'm trying to start a Christmas gifting tradition, please help! (homemade)?
For the people in my life who I want to show that I enjoy their presence, I'm baking.
However, I don't find this to be personal enough to give to my two best friends! What I'm trying to think of (and have been googling and searching everywhere to no avail) is a gift that I can make for them or buy for very cheap (college student's budget) that I can either add to each year or give them the same thing the next year and have them be able to start a collection. An idea I had, though not exactly for the age group I need, would be to sew together a little teddy bear and an outfit, and then maybe make a new outfit for the bear each year. Something similar to that. Thanks in advance for your help; I've had a couple ideas but nothing has seemed quite perfect yet.
I've considered the charm bracelet idea, and though it is a good one (and thank you), I don't think it's as personal as what I'm going for. :/

Honey, I'm almost 53 & I'd love to get a homemade teddy. That's a great idea!
You could do homemade candles or tarts & give a warmer with them.
My daughter makes some great smelling but very easy soaps. She starts with Olay for sensitive skin, melts it somehow then adds scent.
Maybe you can find some ideas here:

Although not homemade, I love this- 100% of the profits (yes- 100%!) go to animal rescues & charities: http://www.rescuechocolate.com/
Good luck!

it really is amazingly elementary. The custom began contained in the seventeenth century. Any type of paper for promises might want to were too extreme priced for the middle type or those in poverty. Stockings on sills and fireplaces grew to develop into undemanding. The the poem "The evening earlier Christmas" got here into being and solidified the custom.

You could have friendship bracelets and add charms to it each year. Oh another idea popped into my head. You could have something like a tree photo frame so its like, every year you can add a picture of you and your bestie to the tree, something like this:
